Goodnight Ontario, Good morning Quebec:
**yawn** hey guys, just woke up. It’s about 11 am and I see from the bus window we’re in a Home Depot parking lot...not really sure why but I know that were still a few hours away from the gig in Sherbrooke Quebec....most of the signs are in french so I’m assuming we’re in Montreal or close to.....I’ll be right back I have to brush my teeth......................ahh much better....so where was I?....oh yeah..... The day before yesterday we played an amazing show here in Montreal I would have to say one of the better shows we’ve ever played!! Montreal we love you!!!! The venue was awesome!! The crowd was amazing!! oh and Logan found his inner cowboy!!!....(see picture below) We found a store called Indiana Jeans and the guy there hooked logan up with some pretty sweet cowboy attire. so yeah...we played the show and quickly packed up and drove over night to Hamilton, a town that is always a good time for us and this time was no exception. Same as the night before, we played the show and quickly packed up and got back into the bus to drive over night back into Quebec past Montreal to play in Sherbrooke.... kind of odd routing but I must say touring is a bus is way easier than touring in a van.
hey have you guys ever seen 30 Rock? Our sound guy Joel brought season 1 and 2 .... it’s awesome!!! check it out.
oh if you haven’t already check out the song Do It Or Die by Die Mannequin (one of the opening bands on the tour) it gets stuck in my head all the time: )
bye for now

Sorry Chicoutimi
The joys of touring Canada in the winter continue for our fearless travelers. The 17 hour trip from Halifax NB to Chicoutimi Quebec was interrupted by an all encompassing snow storm that blanketed all of eastern Canada with about 30-50 cm of snow (that’s about 1-2 feet for our American friends). Whether rain, sleet or snow, our travelers were determined to reach their destination. However, the one thing that stood in their way were 5 orange pylons and a large red sign that read “ DETOUR: ROAD CLOSED”. They were beaten....beaten into submission buy 5 strategically placed plastic cones and a square piece of wood covered in yellow flashing lights.....With their tails between their legs our heroes were forced to set up for an over night stay in Rivier-du-Loup Quebec...... 6 hours from Chicoutimi.
Stay tuned as our story continues.......for now enjoy some pictures of a snowy Rivier-du-Loup.

In spite of a little bad gas… Correction… In spite of a lot of bad gas…
Our tour is off to a great start! We played the first show last night in Moncton, NB with Sum 41 and Sound And Fury. It was a great start to what’s going to be a great tour. Unfortunately Die Mannequin couldn’t be out for the first couple shows but we look forward to meeting up with them by the third show tomorrow night. In Moncton the crowd was fantastic and the beer was abundant… if it’s any sign of what’s to come all the bands are in for an awesome run in eastern and central Canada.
Halifax tonight! Bad weather please stay away… eager rock fans you’re welcome to join us! You east coast folks sure put up with a lot. I heard something about rain and snow in dozens of cm (that’s somewhere near 10 inches) is on the way. Yuk. We prefer dry and warming temperatures… spring is much nicer than winter

Stranded in Albany NY:
This tour begins with a 70 hour drive across the country to get to our first stop in Monton NB. We cut into the U.S. to get under the Great Lakes and somewhere along the way we filled up at a gas station that had “bad gas”. I wasn’t quite sure what that meant until we got the bus towed to a shop where the mechanic said that there was a large amount of water mixed in with the fuel. It turns out the gas station we filled up at had a leak in their underground fuel tanks and rain water filled them up. lesson learned: water won’t make the bus go. So we called Albany NY home for the next 24 hours. ... I should say, not much to do in Albany.... we went to the mall. Benny’s looking for a jean jacket but all we could find was a SEARS and a GAP, no luck there....we hit up the IHOP for some pancakes and crepes....walked to the music store and the guy tried to sell Logan a yellow bass amp, Logan humored the guy and tried it out....and now here we are hitting the road a full 24 hours after getting “bad gas” we’re rolling full steam! onward and upward! we’re chugging along!! and all that stuff..... I’m gonna go for a nap ... talk to y’all later! (like my American slang?)
